Age 74, passed away in Manawa on Saturday, June 6, 2009. She was born on March 13, 1935 the daughter of the late Albert and Dina (Vander Heyden) Van Eyck. Mary was a baker and loved to cook. She worked at the Old Country Buffet as a baker for many years. Mary loved spending time with her family, especially playing cards and darts. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her children: Loren (Lisa) Grimm of Hilbert, Debra (Ronald) Williams of Manawa, Donna (Darold) Wheaton of Appleton, Larry Grimm of Sarasota, FL; and Mark Grimm of Manawa; grandchildren: Justin Grimm and Rachel Tennyson; Jeromy (Miranda) Grimm; Robert (Ellen) Wheaton, Teresa (Joe) Ulrich, Greg (Henna) Wheaton, and Brandon (Lauren) Wheaton; and Tanya Grimm; great-grandchildren: Kaiya Wheaton, Sara Kaye Grimm, Talon Ulrich and Hunter Wheaton; brothers: Jim (Sue) Van Eyck, Dick (Faye) Van Eyck, Robert (Grace) Van Eyck and Dave Van Eyck; sister: Rosanne (Simon) Wynboom; and former husband, Loren Grimm. She is preceded in death by her sisters: Margaret Vander Wielen and Anna Mae Olson.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Star of Hope Chapel, Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Friends will be received at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at Highland Memorial Park from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Affinity Hospice for their supportive care.

A memorial fund in Mary's name is being established. Donations will be given to heart and lung disease research.
