Mary Jo was the first person we met when we visited the school after moving to Menasha, and her loving smile and warm welcome made us feel immediately at home. All three of my children knew Mrs. Peil loved them and they loved her. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Peil family and her Jefferson/Nicolet family too.

The kindest, the sweetest, the smile that lights up a room. Those are my memories of Mary Jo. My heart is broken and filled with sadness at the loss of my friend and fellow co-worker. It's so difficult to try and make sense of it all. I would like to extend a comforting word during this extremely difficult time. You have lost a real special person in your life. Mary touched everyone she came in contact with. Her smile, a welcoming greating, a compassion for Al and her children. Mary loves all of you. She made everyone welcome. I know it is hard to understands God's work, but I'm sure Mary was chosen for a very special purpose. Put a smile on your face. Mom, Honey is watching. There is no one with a smile as great as hers. Remember, the next time a tear comes to your eye and you find yourself thinking of Mom or Honey. turn that tear into a smile. That's Mary stopping by, just to say Hi and checking up on you. God bless all of you. You're all in my prayers.

Mrs. Peil greeted each of my kids with a smile, hug and sticker every time we came through the office at Nicolet or Jefferson. We recently had a reason to stop in as a family and I am so grateful that we all got to see each other one last time. She was just the sweetest person and we will miss her dearly. Stopping in to the school office just won't be the same without her. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Peil, we love you!
