Flagstad, Mary Elizabeth

Mary E. Flagstad, age 97, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2008, in Greenfield, Wisconsin. She was born June 20, 1910, in Bloomington, IL, to the late James and Cindy (Barnes) Clontz. Mary had lived in Green Bay for 40 years and in Appleton for 20 years. She then moved to New Orleans for 4 years and most recently resided in Milwaukee. Mary was very involved in local churches in Green Bay and Appleton as a lay person. She was an avid painter and enjoyed traveling and caring for her husband. She was a former member of First Assembly of God. She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Jewel (Dan) Flagstad Maurice, New Berlin; five grandchildren, Denise (Dan) Pannebaker, Neenah; Rene' Domask, Green Bay; Theodore (Melissa) Koelling, New Orleans; Jackie Richardson, McLean, TX; Michael Maurice, New Berlin; nine great grandchildren, Adam Domask, Ashley Domask, Wills Pannebaker, Tyler Koelling, Noelle Pannebaker, Alex Loicano, Dalton Richardson, Lauren Richardson, Sarah Koelling; one great great grandson, Owen Spencer Domask; a sister Ceil Tyler, Longview, WA; and a son-in-law, Reverend Robert Roslynn) Koelling, Madisonville, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Theodore J. Flagstad, a son, Theodore James “Petey” Flagstad, a daughter, Virginia Ruth Koelling, three sisters, Leona Lundquist, Violet Walker and Dorothy Homerinck, and two brothers, Arthur, in infancy and James Clontz. A memorial service for Mary will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery, Fort Howard, WI.
