Mary Comperini-Stoffel left a message on April 6, 2009:
I'm so sorry to hear about Mary's passing. She was such a dear, kind-hearted soul. I was her paper carrier for a few years as a child and recall how personable she was. She took the time to get to know me and my brothers and often invited us in out of the cold to warm up. We always knew that if we needed help, we could trust in Mrs. Boggs. She noticed how fond I was of her cats and I was honored when she trusted me enough to care for her cherished felines when she went on vacation. She always had a generous heart and usually brought back a special gift from her travels when she returned. Of course, she was more than a customer on a paper route. She was a genuine good-hearted spirit. My brother Michael was close with Mr. and Mrs. Boggs as well. There are very few people that leave the kind of impression that they both left on us. Mrs. Boggs was passionate for life and so full of compassion for others. She will be missed but certainly not forgotton. I'm blessed to have known her. My condolences ~ Mary Comperini-Stoffel
