Mary Alice Zenefski

July 1, 1932 — June 17, 2018

Mary Alice Zenefski (Greenhill), age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Gardenview Assisted Living where she resided the past 4-1/2 years. At a private service on June 21, 2018, Mary was laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery in Menasha. Officiating the ceremony was Chaplain Cliff a member of the Hospice Team. On July 15, 1950, Mary married Victor P. Zenefski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha, Wisconsin.

Mary is survived by her brother Allen (Buddy) Greenhill; sister Jimmie Schriber; children: Louise Zenefski (daughter-in-law), Laura Shebilske (Theodore, Alabama), Deby (Jim) Trader, Kim (Dick) Beirl, Kent (Carole) Zenefski (Columbus, Wisconsin); grandchildren: Jennifer (Zenefski) Peterson; Jodi and John Wilharms, Travis (Heather) Trader and Nicolas Trader, Timothy and Victoria Zenefski and Josh Sackett; great-grandchildren: Fisher and Eli Peterson; Kesy, Sebastian, Logan and Alyvia Trader; and a very special friend Henry (John) Fitzgibbon, Fort Meyers, Florida.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Victor; son Mark; and sister Dorothy Herring.

Mary enjoyed her last 4-1/2 years at Gardenview Assisted Living; the delicious meals all prepared by the staff right at Gardenview, the music, all the outings, games and other activities provided. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Gardenview Assisted Living for their kind and compassionate care. A special thank-you to Luke Densow of Wichmann-Fargo Funeral Home for assisting the family with all of the final arrangements. And, last but not least, the family wants to thank Ascension (Affinity) Hospice. The entire staff of Hospice provided absolutely all of the necessary care prior to her passing.
