Mary Alice Geurts

Mary Alice (Crotty) Geurts, age 98, graciously and peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on January 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

Mary was born in Farmington, WI on June 9, 1922. Mary took pleasure in reading, crochet, and especially treasuring her family parties. She loved the outdoors and flowers during the summertime. Mary leaves behind her bird (sunshine) who was her loving companion.

She is survived by her children, Donald, Kathleen, Mark, Ann, Patricia, and Geri (Scott); grandchildren, Todd, Trent (Ann), Brian, Tracy, Jon (Angie), Joe (Catherine), Heather (Chris) Ken (Rachel) Sara (Mike) Melissa (Spencer) and multiple great-grandchildren; many other dear family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John Geurts; children-in-law, Mary and Roger; and multiple brothers.

Due to current circumstances, a private memorial service for Mary will be held at 1 PM on Monday, February 1, 2021. You may view the service via Livestream by visiting wichmannfuneralhomes.com on the day of the service. Interment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Menasha.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Neenah Animal Shelter.

The family would like thank long term Dr. Kimberly Berg and thank you for the short term ThedaCare Hospice, Interim Health Care for the excellent care during Mary last few months. Mary has touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness. She will be forever missed.
