Mary A. Roell

Mary found peace with God on December 20, 2001 after a brief illness. She was born in Milwaukee on September 27, 1940, daughter of the late Gilbert and Evelyn (Ruck) Meyer. On June 11, 1966, she married Jack Roell in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; he survives. Her pets and caring for her garden were favorite pastimes.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Jack Roell of Darboy; a son: Eric Roell of Washington, D.C. and his friend David; two daughters: Jody Roell of Seattle, Washington and Christine Roell of Appleton and her friend James; a sister: Melissa “Missy” (John) Landdeck of Beaver Dam; a brother: John (Mary Ann) Meyer of Oshkosh.

Funeral services for Mary will be held at the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 22, 2001, with Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary’s name.

Mary dearly loved her husband and family, and always looked forward to sharing time and a simpler life at the cottage.
