Age 67, passed away Monday evening, May 13, 2002. He was born February 4, 1935, to the late Harvey and Loide (Kauth) Thibert, in Kellner, Wisconsin and moved to Appleton as a young child. Marv served with the U. S. Marine Corps, during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed by Wisconsin Natural Gas, for 39 years, retiring in 1994. Marv enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a Life Member of the Harvey Pierre V. F. W. Post #2778. Survivors include his four children and a daughter-in-law, Todd A. Thibert, Appleton; Gerry L. Thibert, Virginia; Connie L. Thibert, Appleton; Daniel K. and Julie Thibert, Appleton; four grandchildren, Nicole Thibert, Tim, Kaitlin and David Rudie; a brother Harvey Thibert, Naples, FL; and a special friend, Judith DeWall. Funeral service for Marvin will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 16, 2002, at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 pm (Noon) Thursday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
