Carol, Jean and I give you our deepest sympathy in your lose of Mark. I am so glad that I new both of you. Mark was a good friend, and always had a smile on his face. It was always uplifting being around Mark. I enjoyed his company during our High School years, and would run into Mark out in the market place, and we would reminisce about old times. I'm so sorry we could not make the funeral. I just found out about his passing Monday. Carol, may God Bless you and your family, and give you comfort and peace during this time of mourning. Dear Carol, Matt and Steve, I'm so terribly sorry that Ken and I cannot be there with you today as you celebrate Mark's life and reunion with God. I'm sitting at my desk with tears in dripping down my face as I remember with warmth and nostalgia the wonderful man that he was and life that he led. Uncle Mark possessed such an infectious joy for life that uplifted everyone around him. I cannot ever remember a time when he was not smiling, joking or laughing. He was such a great family man, husband and father and loved you all so dearly. We are so sad that he is gone and we will all miss him terribly. I have so many great memories of Uncle Mark - his joyful greetings when Beckie and I would come to visit grandma's house when we were little kids. His love of being at the lake. The many many Christmas celebrations; I especially remember the one at our house when he finally got the drum set. I also remember how genuinely happy he was for me when Ken and I got engaged. Mark was a remarkable person in so many ways. He left a great legacy and left us all too soon. Our love and prayers are with you today. Andie and Ken.

Carol, Matt & Steve I am so very sorry for your loss. This is just unbelievable. I have so many good memories of Mark. So many good times together with you guys. Family gatherings just won't be the same. I know Mark was a wonderful husband and a great father. He was taken from you way too soon. My mom died 2 weeks ago. I miss her terribly, but I know that she led a good long life and she was ready to join my dad in heaven. This is one of those situations when you ask "why?" and there is no explanation. I will cherish the times spent with Mark and all of the great memories. And all of his little sayings like "let's put Christ back in Christmas" or " Hooray, Hooray it's the first of May. Outdoor "..." starts today". He was one of a kind! Love you all! Sending hugs! Kathy PS. He is having a Korbel with Bill, Eddie & Lollie in Heaven :-)
