Bonner, Marjorie J.

Marjorie Jane Bonner, age 88, of Appleton, died Monday morning, December 5, 2005, following a brief illness. She was born June 22, 1917, in Chicago, and before moving to Appleton four years ago, Marge lived in the Chicago area. She volunteered at the New London Hospital, and she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and bible study. She is survived by five children, John (Caroline) Bonner, Orlando, FL; Melvin (Patricia) Bonner, Tinley Park, IL; Dennis (Linda) Bonner, Oak Park, IL; Brenda (Peter) Emerson, Appleton; Margie (Jerry) Davis, Manchester, TN; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Bonner, July 5, 1980 and a granddaughter, Valerie Lynn Swain, September 23, 1989. It was Marjorie’s request that there be no formal services. There will be a memorial planting in the spring in Illinois.
