Kaye, Joe, Jen, Anika - Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear this news. My heart breaks for all of you. Missy was truly a one-of-a-kind genuine person full of warmth and laughter. She made people happy everywhere she went. She will truly be missed by so many, but nobody more than all of you.

Missy was so friendly, and funny and kind. I, as do so many others, will miss her dearly. She was the anchor who held everything together at Manor Care. She was the “go to girl” for everything. She was great at her job. I feel so fortunate to have spoken with her on that fateful morning. Just hearing her voice at the other end of the line made me happy. She was my favorite person during my lengthy stay at Manor Care. I will never forget her. Much love and healing for her family and friends. She was one of a kind.

I'm SO sorry we lost Missy. I met her through her job at Manor Care. I always looked forward to her beautiful smile, happy greeting and positive conversation when I pick up or dropped passengers through my job as a driver for Valley Transit II. RIP Missy, you will be missed.

I worked with Missy on a daily basis from afar. I work for Running Inc /Valley Transit II taking reservtions for rides. For many many years we interacted with Missy either by phone or fax. She was always precise in the details of the ride and we are going to miss her. We are genuinely heart broken. I wished I could have met her. My sympathy to her family and her work family as well.

We here at Running Inc are going to miss working with Missy. She was so good at her job and we would talk to her everyday on the phone. We didnt know her personally but felt like we did on an everyday basis. We want to extend our condolences to her family and to her working family. She left big shoes to fill and we are going to miss her. Hugs to you all.

My deepest sympathies to Missy's family and work-family. Missy will be tremendously missed by all who knew her for a minute or a lifetime. She was funny with a dry humor or just by facial expressions, either way, she'd make you laugh. She was giving, no matter the cause, she was the FIRST one to take part in a fundraiser whether it be in-house or through a co-workers family, she was always the FIRST to pitch in. She was great for one-liners that said it all, she was the one who, at a loss for words would say "riveting" when explaining something lackluster. Every time I had to run to the store for work items, she'd give me money and say "Could you go to McDonalds and get me a sugar free vanilla iced coffee with extra ice? There is enough there to get yourself something too,"... so giving. She was also quite dainty, I never saw anyone eat Cheetos with a spoon, as not to get her fingers "cheesy". Her laugh, contagious. It was real, and if it was REALLY funny, there would be her laugh followed by a hand clap. She came to every co-workers events that she was invited to, weddings, baby showers, celebrations.... the only time she couldn't make it, was because she had plans with her family. She so loved all of you. Anika, she loved you so very much, you were her pride and joy. Family was most important to her, and you all made her feel loved and important as well. Missy was raised well, and loved so much. I am going to miss Missy, she was truly one of a kind and a wonderful welcoming face for ManorCare. To her co-workers, past and present, I am sorry for your loss.... may you comfort each other in this difficult time and treasure the moments you had with Missy.

For over five years, Missy greeted me and my brother as we came to visit my mom at Manor Care. She was so full of warmth and joy, always smiling, always helpful. She treated each person with more than respect, each person felt listened to and important in her presence. For my mom, Missy was a friend - she was someone my mom could talk with and laugh with and also someone who supported her and knew just how to get her through some of life's challenges. We will miss her dearly. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to her family. - The Wilson family, Joyce, Heather and Will
