Marion M. Hensch, 71, of Little Chute, passed away following a sudden illness on Friday, October 8, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on August 17, 1939 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Biese) Siebers. Marion was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Combined Locks. She retired after 29 years of service at Goodwill. Marion looked forward to going up north to the cottage. She enjoyed walking her dogs, bird watching, fishing and making crafts.
Marion is survived by her children: Debbie (Dan) Dunn, Little Chute; Robin (Phil) Hansen, Sherwood; Bill (Kathy) Seefeldt, Kaukauna; Vickie Verstegen, Kaukauna; David (Patty) Seefeldt, Little Chute and Laurie (Jim) Kaczmarek, Sherwood; fourteen grandchildren: Misty (special friend Chad) Sherrer; Shanna (Chris) Vegoe, Sky, Tanesha and Colton Hansen; Lukas (special friend Sarah) and Cody Seefeldt; Crystal (special friend Cory) and Derek (fiancé Valerie) Verstegen; Ryan, Catherine and Brandon Seefeldt; Conner and Mason Bostwick; three great-grandchildren: Seth, Mackenzie and Greysen; four step-grandchildren: James, Leah, Karlee and Nicole and a step-great-grandson: Anthony. She is further survived by her good friend, Rose and her dogs, Lucy and Kisses. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hensch; Arthur Seefeldt, Jr., the father of her children and her half-brother, Ken Siebers.
The funeral service for Marion will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 S. Washington Street, Combined Locks. Rev. Tim Krick will be officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kaukauna. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:30 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for the N.E.W. Zoo.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and staff of 6 east at Appleton Medical Center and the staff at ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
Her children will miss her and are very proud of her courage and strength.
