WILLIAMS, MARION E.

Marion E. Williams, age 93, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at home. She was born on October 28, 1916 in Appleton, the daughter of Carl and Rose (Deltour) Zimmerman. She married Harold Williams on June 27, 1935 in Kimberly. Marion enjoyed cooking and baking, crocheting, and playing cards, especially sheephead. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Kimberly, and enjoyed her time as a volunteer at Colony Oaks Nursing Home.
Marion is survived by two sons, Harold (Karen) Williams, Neenah, and Michael (Carol) Williams, Peachtree City, GA; two daughters, Beverly Hoffman, Appleton, and Barbara Quella, Menasha; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, John and Eileen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; a granddaughter, Sharon; two brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Ben Hoffman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave. with Fr. Gerald Faulk officiating. Visitation will be held at church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established in Marion's name.
