Jane, Larry, Michael, Julia, & Kathleen - My deepest sympathies. I so regret that I will not be able to make it to the funeral and see all of you again. My sister and I planned to make the trip today, but the weather did not cooperate. Marion was the last of a generation of Chases. She helped keep me connected to all of you cousins. My sister and I visited her during the Christmas holidays just recently. We reminisced about the good old days, times spent together, cherished memories, and her famous cherry bounce. She was so excited about her 100th birthday party plans this coming August and the opportunity to be surrounded by all her family and friends. I will miss her - her energy and kindness.

Marion was a good friend, & a good member of First Presbyterian Church Green Bay! She drove to Sunday services faithfully for many years. I cannot believe that there is nothing here in G B for those of us to pay our respects. She will be remembered tho!

Please accept my sincere condolences. Although I only taught with Marion for one year, my first at Beaumont, I have come to know, admire and love her as we gathered as the "Beaumont's Best" group. Our group would meet 2 or 3 times a year for lunch or dinner. The last few times I would meet her in De Pere and take her to the event. We always joked about the fact that she was the oldest and I was the youngest! I admired her greatly. I feel very bad that I didn't keep in touch over the winter this year. I thought of her often and said I needed to call. Well, I didn't, and I will regret that forever. She gave me some pillowcases that she had embroidered. I will treasure those. I will miss her, as will our "Beaumont's Best" group. My thoughts will be with your family tomorrow. C.

Our sincere sympathies on the loss of your loved one. We recently enjoyed a Halloween party with her at the Trillium Chapter of O.E.S. in Crivitz in October. My husband and I are officers in Martha Washington Chapter #124, O.E.S., Green Bay. We considered her indeed one of the fairest of women. We admired her and as a woman I tried to live my life by her example. I will miss her smile and words of wisdom and cheer. I was saddened when I heard that Marion passed away because here I am in Arizona so I will be unable to attend her funeral. She was a dear friend of mine for many years and she was also a friend of my folks. I taught with Marion at Beaumont School and I knew her through Eastern Star. I have never known such a devoted Eastern Star member. Marion and I were friends of Ivon Greene from Manitowoc whom she thought about fondly. So through the years we did spend quite a bit of time together. I will miss Marion and I wish I could have visited with her one more time. You have my deepest sympathy. I feel fortunate to have known her and I have many wonderful memories of her. This picture of her is lovely. Joan Burr

Mrs. Waldron was my 5th grade teacher at Beaumont Elementary School ('71-'72). I affectionately remember her as being a strict but compationate teacher. She made a difference in my life and I think of her now and then when challenged by my own elementary students.

Dear Jane, Larry, Michael, Julia, & Kathleen, I have not seen many of you since I use to babysit at Marion's house around 1966. Please accept my sincere sympathy in regards to the passing of one grand lady! Marion came into my life as my 4th & 5th grade teacher at Beaumont and has been part of it since. She will be missed.
