WILBER, MARION B.
Marion “Bernard” Wilber, 77, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Manor Care. He was born on April 5, 1933, the son of the late Franklin and Alta (Sturm) Wilber. Bernard served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951-1954. On August 6, 1955 he married Doris Free at St. Joseph of the Lake in Suring. Bernard was employed for over 40 years at Foremost Foods. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Bernard is survived by his wife: Doris Wilber; children: Gary (Jackie) Wilber, LuAnn (friend Dave) Schmitt, Ruth (Mitch) Nelson, Joan (Armand) Roy, Lois (Scott Seymour) Landgraf, Lori (Derrick) Tribble and Andrea Wilber; 15 grandchildren: Christian and Noah Wilber; Michael Schmitt, Andy (Katrina) Schmitt and Emily (fiancé Shane Schaefer) Schmitt; Kevin and Dan Nelson; Amanda Downtain and Spencer Lucy; Savannah (fiancé Shawn Bordeaux) Seymour, Benjamin and Jessica Landgraf; Nicholas and Emma Tribble; Samantha Schroeder; 3 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: George Wilber, Beulah (Verlyn) Spreeman, Maynard Wilber, Roger (Darlene) Wilber and Beverly Wilber; brother-in-law: Laroy Miller; sisters-in-law: Luretta, Sylvia and Carla Wilber and Charlotte Christensen. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bernard was preceded in death by his four brothers: Dave, Gene, Earl and Franklin Wilber; his sister, Barbara Miller and sister-in-law, Marcella Wilber.
The funeral service for Marion will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 23, 2010 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with Deacon Gib Schmidt officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held on Friday from 5:00 pm until the time of service.
