Age 81, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away at home on Thursday, November17, 2011. She was born in Kaukauna on July 20, 1930 the daughter of the late Walter and Johanna (Baker) Buerth. She graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1948. On November 22, 1952 she married Robert Revoir. He preceded her in death 1975. On April 14, 1977 she married James Hartjes, who preceded her in death in 1990. Marilyn was proud to work at Appleton Extended Care, for 17 years. She also worked in home care with Forest County Social Services and volunteered her time at St. John's. She was active and enjoyed swimming, water exercise, fishing, cribbage, and playing bingo at the casino. She will be remembered for her amazing ability to knit, especially booties, slippers and mittens.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Sue (Clark) Bongers of Kaukauna, Richard (special friend, Kathy) Revoir of Long Lake, William (special friend, Lori) Revoir of Pickerel; step-children: Greg (Kim) Hartjes of Long Lake, Vicki Hartjes of Kaukauna, Guy (Sue) Hartjes of Kaukauna, and Roy (Linda) Hartjes of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Kyle Bongers, Brooke and Bobby Revoir, Nick and Tyler Vanden Bloomer, and Dakota Revoir; step-grandchildren: Michele Strieger, Bryan Hartjes, Angie Sanderfoot, Amber Sauter, Stacey Felton, Tommy Sauter, and Luke, Eric and Kim Hartjes; many great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brother, Duane Buerth; sister: Joan Driessen; and her cat and good friend, Midnight. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Robert and James; her parents; brother-in-law, James Driessen; sister-in-law, Jane Buerth, and nephew, Scott Driessen.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, N8934 State Hwy 55, Pickerel, with Rev. Michael Mathey officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Kaukauna.

The family extends a special thank you to the nurses at LeRoyer Hospice for their wonderful care; and to the “Three Musketeers,” Brooke, Lori and Shelly for their time spent with Marilyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given directly to St. John Lutheran Church.
