Marie T. Klippstein

Mrs. Marie T. Klippstein, age 95, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 31, 2008, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born November 3, 1912, to Moritz and Margaret Heinemann. She married Herman on October 21, l933. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1973.

Marie is survived by her children, Donald and Bonnie Klippstein of Kennewick, WA, and Dianne and Paul Bieneman of Kent City, MI; her sister, Barbara Pankratz; her grandchildren, Col. Daniel (Deborah) Klippstein, Thomas (Michele) Klippstein, Jean Marie Klippstein, Jennifer (Frank) Courtney, Jason (Rebecca) Bieneman, and Jonathon (Terra) Bieneman; five great grandchildren and the eagerly anticipated arrival of the sixth; and many nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Joseph, Frank, Sr. Morita, Margaret, Andrew, Carl and James. Marie was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a former receptionist, a wonderful cook and baker, a needle crafter, and a Bingo and card player.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
