Joshua & Shelece Simon and Family left a message on April 6, 2009:
Grandma Simon loved making every moment count with us as grandkids. We loved her stories, her jokes, her homemade goodies and fishing trips out to the summer cottage. We love you Grandma! You will be missed dearly.
Joseph R. Simon left a message on April 6, 2009:
Well what can I say about my grandma! She was an absolutely amazing woman. Kind and caring as can be! Always an early morning happy birthday song could be expected. When Grandpa was alive they would sing it together. Then after his passing Grandma sang alone for awhile and then recruited some back up from Aunt Adele. I love Grandma. Some of my fondest memories with Grandma are fishing with her out at the cottage. We would sit and fish together for a long time. Me usually doing most of the fishing (wading out into the lake)(forgive my fly-fishing habits) and grandma sitting up on the dock telling me stories about her and Grandpa. How much she loved him and how much she missed him. I'll never forget the last words Grandma said to me. I had told her I was engaged and she was telling me how excited she was for me and then she said now Joseph you remember. Simon men were raised to treat women with love and respect and to always take care of them and love them the way they should be. I said I will Grandma. And I will. I will forever miss her and am grateful for the time I had with her. All my love Grandpa & Grandma, Your Grandson Joseph R. Simon
Rebecca Myrna Simon left a message on April 6, 2009:
I loved grandma so much she was one of the sweetest people that I have ever had the opportunity to know! She never missed a birthday or any opportunity to call. She would call and talk to my dad weekly and even if he wasn't there, her and I would still talk for a long while. I enjoyed visiting her in Wisconsin so much. She knew how to enjoy the simple things in life, a good sunset, fishing, talking, telling stories, I loved it all. When I was in Junior High I needed to write a story on someone that I knew. I chose to do it on Grandma. In order to do this grandma and I were on the phone for over an hour just talking and telling stories. I enjoyed it so much. I love grandma and miss her but I will always remember her and love her.

Grandma I will always remember all of the love and the support that you gave to me over the years. I will miss talking to you and hearing about how your life has been and sharing with you all of the experiences I am having with my life. I know you are happy and are with grandpa rooting for the packers to win this superbowl. We know if they do you both had a hand in that. I will miss you tons. Love always, your grandson. Anthony Simon

Jerald M. Simon left a message on April 6, 2009:
Marie is my grandmother. She was always a wonderfully sweet woman and I will forever retain the fond memories I have of her. One memory in particular stands out in my mind. My family attended a wedding of a cousin and after the wedding Grandma Simon wanted to dance. Grandpa Simon didn't want to, so Grandma danced with my father. Grandpa cut in. There was a charming twinkle in his eyes. It was the first time in my life I had seen them dance together and I realized how much they loved each other. It's wonderful to know that Grandpa has cut in once more to dance with Grandma, but this time they are dancing in heaven surrounded by their loved ones. Even though Grandma has left us, she will always be in our hearts and when we look heavenward, we will see stars twinkling in the sky and we will be filled with love as we remember Grandma and Grandpa Simon.
