Marie Chavlovich

Marie Chavlovich, 82, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Rennes Health Care Center.

Marie was born on December 26, 1928 to Henry and Dorothea (Rusch) Herman in Sheboygan. She married Steve Chavlovich on July 14, 1951 and together they moved to Appleton in 1958. Marie was an avid reader, loved to play Jeopardy and spend time at the cottage at Shawano Lake. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Marie is survived by her children; Nancy (Ken) Woodward, Madison; John (Karen) Chavlovich, Appleton; Mark Chavlovich, Appleton; and David (Stephanie) Chavlovich, Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren, Stephen (Emily) and Drew (Sally) Woodward, Jaclyn Chavlovich, Kelli and Ryan Wirth, D'von Campbell, David Jr. and Deshawn Chavlovich, a great grandson, Maxwell Woodward, a sister, Lydia, a brother, Walter (Mary Lou), nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Steve, and one brother Christian.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME with burial at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley, Inc. The family would like to thank Rennes Health Care for all the care they showed Marie and her family during this difficult time.
