Marie C. Thompson, age 80, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, at ManorCare Center in Fond du Lac. She was born October 15, 1924, in Menasha, the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn (Grode) Dornbrook. Marie was united in marriage to Gaylord Thompson on October 13, 1951, in Menasha. He preceded her in death.
Prior to her retirement, Marie was an executive secretary with Marathon Paper Company of Neenah, and later at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute in Oshkosh.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debby and Brian A. Lewis, of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jody Gail Thompson, and her brother, Donald Dornbrook.

Private family services were held for Marie. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be sent to the Fox Valley Humane Association, 3401 West Brewster Street, Appleton, WI, 54914.
