Marian E Glass

Marian E. Glass, age 86, lifelong Appleton resident, passed away on August 27, 2021 at Aspire Senior Living in Appleton. Marian was born on October 4, 1934 in Appleton to Raymond and Minnie (Schultz) Vick. She was a graduate of Appleton West High School. On December 3, 1955 she married John Glass at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton and he preceded her in death on December 9, 20, 06.

She was a longtime employee of AAL in Appleton where she worked as an Internal Auditor. She loved Cocker Spaniels and raised and owned many over the years. She enjoyed Polka Music and travel with John. Her favorite destinations were Hawaii and Las Vegas.

She will be sadly missed by her son Dennis (Laura) Glass, sister Jeanette (David) Diestler, nephews, Jason, Jeffrey, Justin, and Joel Diestler, granddaughter, Stephanie (Matt) Lind, Samantha (Jim) Eastman, great-grandchildren, Chase and Izabella, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, grandson Derrick Glass, and many beloved pets.

Memorial Services for Marian will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00am at Eternal Love Ev. Lutheran Church, 1011 East Midway Road in Appleton. There will be a visitation at the church prior to the service from 10:00am to 11:00am. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
