It was a blessing to know Margo. I knew her from canasta at the Oshkosh Seniors Center and LIR writing classes. After reading her story about Ross in her book, "There are Thousands to Tell You," I located Ross in Madison and Margo subsequently contacted him in 2001. There was joy in Margo's life at making a connection after so many years...life coming full circle...and now life is complete. Margo's bright spirit will be missed.

I want to express my sympathy to your family. I always enjoyed hearing the stories Margo told of her very interesting career in nursing. She was a kind, caring, and very intelligent woman. We will miss Margo at our Westhaven Circle meetings, part of the Winnebago County Association of Home and Community Education.

Your mother was an amazing woman! She was one of our favorite members at CFCU and I will always treasure the wonderful notes and insightful letters & cards that she sent me over the years. I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to be there in person to express my condolences. It was a real blessing and a gift to know her!

Margo's wonderful smile made everyone immediately comfortable. She joined GFWC-Oshkosh Women's Arts Club to support the Helen Farnsworth Mears Art Contest; as a child she helped her Mother, an art teacher, participate in the contest and wanted to continue that tradition. Her photographs taken from her window chronicled the building of the Leach Amphitheater and were published by the Northwestern. A woman with many ideas, she was an enthusiastic committee member for downtown riverfront planning. She will be missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Margo was an amazing woman and I am honored to have known her. I was the Human Services (Winnebago County) secretary assigned to take minutes for the Commission on Aging and got to know Margo well in the 3 years I recorded meeting minutes. I was also felt very honored that she took the time to get to know me and made time to listen. She was truly an inspiration!

Margo, as my wife and I knew her, was a brave and generous soul in spite of the tragedies in her life. She was always thinking of others and trying to make life better for all in any way she could. Her numerous artistic and business endeavors will be remembered by many as will her sense of humor and greatness of spirit.

I am so sorry to hear about Margo passing. I used to help her with her banking at Community First Credit Union in Oshkosh. She always was so happy and brought such joy to the office whenever she came in. I left the credit union in April, so hadn't seen her for a while. She was quite a woman!! One that definitely made me look at things differently in my own life. She will be missed. So sorry for your loss.
