Margaret Lucille Schneider

Margaret L. Schneider, 95, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018. Margaret was born on July 21, 1923 to the late Percy and Bernadette (Raymond) Liberty in L’Anse Michigan. After graduating from high school, she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was united in marriage to the late Thomas K. n Schneider and he preceded her in death in 1981. Together they raised seven children. During her retirement she stayed very active, working and teaching classes at the YMCA until she was 92 years old. Most importantly spending time with her family was important to her and those times will always be cherished.
Margaret is survived by six children; Timothy and Delores Schneider, Colleen and Todd Martin, Gary and Patti Schneider, Ann Schneider, John and Terry Schneider and Mary Beth and Brian McHugh, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a brother Robert and Helen Liberty, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her daughter Kathy Geier.
The funeral liturgy for Margaret will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine St., with Fr. Amal Roche officiating and Msgr. Charles Schluter concelebrating and Rev. Mr. Todd Martin homilist. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass at church.
