HEARDEN, MARGARET J.

Margaret J. Hearden, age 85, of Appleton, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. Margaret was born on July 10, 1922, in Weiden, Bavaria, to the late John and Paula (Arnold) Baumler. She married Gerard Hearden on September 2, 1940, in Appleton; he preceded her in death on October 17, 1978. Margaret was employed in retail sales, retiring from Marshall Fields in 1987. Survivors include her children, Bud (Shirley) Hearden; Peggy (George) Holzknecht; and Pam (Randy) Guyette, all of Appleton; her sister, Johanna (John) Miller, Antigo; her brother John (Shirley) Baumler, Appleton; her grandchildren, Scott (Darlene) Hearden, Dan (Chris) Hearden, Tim (Joy) Hearden, Chris (Joe) Moravchik, Michelle Butz, Tim (Sara) Guyette, Jeff Marsceau (friend Karen), Todd Marsceau and Melony (Jim) Stoltz; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Erika, Morgan, Sam, Lucy, Molly, and Brady Hearden; Karissa Holzknecht, Kennedy Butz, Lily and Lauren Moravchik, Owen Guyette and Ryan Stoltz. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Marsceau and her great granddaughter, Ashlynn Marsceau. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2008, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME—TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 3212 South Oneida Street, Menasha, with Deacon Don Gigure officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Margaret's family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Home and St. Paul Manor for their loving care.
