Margaret A. "Muggs" Van Dyn Hoven

Margaret A. “Muggs” (Schuh) Van Dyn Hoven, passed away on February 21, 2015 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Muggs was born on October 1, 1933 to Ignatius and Martha (Verhagen) Schuh. On April 15, 1952 she married Wimp and they enjoyed over 62 years together. In addition to being a homemaker, Muggs worked as a book keeper. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Parish and the Christian Mothers. She loved quilting with her friends, her garden, being surrounded by family and friends. She also loved car rides with Wimp, singing with the choir, playing cards with her sisters and sisters-in-law and was a great cook.

She will be sadly missed by: her husband Wimp; children: Jeff (Cindy) Van Dyn Hoven; Doug Van Dyn Hoven; Jill Van Groll; Joan (Jim) Vanevenhoven; Beth Schaefer; grandchildren: Ben (Amy) Van Dyn Hoven; Nate (Cathy) Van Dyn Hoven; Mandy (Matt) Hurst; Scott (Ellen) Van Groll; Nels (Heidi) Van Dyn Hoven; Dana Hammen; Craig (Amanda) Hammen; Sam (Kristen) Van Dyn Hoven; Kim (Jon) Anderson; Charlie Schaefer; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings: Arlene Van Dyn Hoven; Don (Mary) Schuh; Dan (Mary Therese) Schuh; Paul (Mary) Schuh; Dot (Jim) Appleton; Bob (Sherry) Schuh; Tom (Carolyn) Schuh; Carol (Vern) Frederickson; Pat (Bob) Rohm; brothers-in-law: Lloyd, Carl (Alicia) and Dan (Mary Alice) Van Dyn Hoven as well as many other family, close friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter-in-law Sherry Van Dyn Hoven, Wimp's parents Hank and Florence, 2 brothers Mike and Jerry Schuh; brothers-in-law Bob and Ken Van Dyn Hoven; sister-in-law Cecelia Van Dyn Hoven.

Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Parish, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna on Thursday February 26, 2015 from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Memorial Mass will be at the church Thursday at 11:00 am with Fr.
