Marcelline "Marcie" Beschta

Marcelline Beschta, age 95, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. She was born on August 15, 1926, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Mazella (Bauernfiend) Dorn. Marcelline was employed with Zwicker Knitting Mills for 20 years. She was united in marriage to Stanley E. Beschta on July 8, 1947, and he preceded her in death on June 1, 1981. She was a charter member of St. Bernard Catholic Parish, Appleton, and volunteered in their office regularly for years. Marcelline also volunteered at the voting polls in Appleton. She enjoyed, playing sheepshead, golfing, bowling, reading, watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports, tending her yard, and attending theater productions.

Marcie is survived by 5 children: Kathy (Les) Stark, Mark (Charlene) Beschta, Marcie (Don) Rucci, Jeff (Mary Jo) Beschta, and Pam Haertl; grandchildren: Kerry Munson, Peter (Nicole) Shaw, Emmy (Shawn) Feldman, Mike (Sam) Beschta, Ellen (Marko) Gerovac, Amy Schneider, Adam (Carmen) Rucci, Jenna Rucci, Matt (Lauren) Springhetti, Jamie (Luke) Buchberger, Ryan (Kerri) Haertl, and Kristi (Travis) Weyenberg; great grandchildren: Jake, Sam, Steven, Brandon, Kiersten, Aubree, Maddie, Dashiell, Penelope, Gemma, Tessa, Makaely, baby Gerovac on the way, Jackson, Illyana, Gabrellia, Ben, Charlie, Harper Jo, Nolan, Mason, Kylynn, Mazy, Iley Jo, and Ryken; 3 nieces and 3 nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Marcie was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son: Stephen Beschta, her mother and a brother: James (Darlene) Dorn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine St., Appleton. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society or St. Bernard Parish, Appleton.
