Age 81, went to be with her Lord, Monday afternoon July 28, 2003 after an extended illness. Margaret was born April 6, 1922 in Appleton.
In 1940 she married Gerald "Jerry" Wagner, he preceded her in death.
Margaret attended Appleton schools and was employed for many years at H. C. Prange Company (Younkers). She was a charter member of First Assembly of God.
Margaret is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Glenn Gabbard; and a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" and Judy Wagner, Jr. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jo Ellen (Dave) Schwandt; Loren Wagner; Sharon (Scott) Thomason; Robert (Liz) Wagner; Gerald Gabbard; and Gerard (Beccy) Gabbard. There are also three great granddaughters who loved their Grandma Margaret: Nichole and Jessica Schwandt and Ashleigh Thomason.
In addition, Margaret is survived by her brother, Harvey (Bernie) Fisher and her sister, Elaine (Gerhardt) Remus, along with nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday , July 31, 2003, at the funeral home, with Reverend Daniel Spina officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 pm, Thursday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.

The family extends a special thank you to the caring staff of Encore Senior Villa, Appleton and the ThedaCare Hospice program.
