Krueger, Mae E.

Mae E. Krueger, age 84, of Appleton, died Sunday morning, April 15, 2007, at Grand Horizons Retirement Facility, with her family at her side. She was born Mary 14, 1922, to the late William F. and Emma P. (Breitzman) Geider, in Milwaukee, and was raised in Shawano. Mae graduated from Shawano High School. She married Delore E. Krueger September 13, 1942; he preceded her in death on March 7, 2006. Mae and Delore moved to Appleton in 1966. Mae and her husband loved to travel; she visited all 50 states and all the provinces of Canada. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Mae (Benjamin) Pelot, Appleton; two grandsons Brian (Jennifer) Pelot and Joseph (Nicole) Pelot; three great grandchildren, Tyler Pelot, Grace Pelot and Zoe Pelot; two sisters, Cheyenne (Robert) Buss and Shirley (Michael) Driskall; a brother James Thompson. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Delore Krueger and a brother Robert Thompson. Funeral service for Mae will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 20, 2007 at OUR SAVIOUR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, with Reverend Todd Smith officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm, on Thursday and on Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
