To the Balke children, so sorry for your loss of your wonderful little mother! I got to know Mabel at the Retirement home, I was a server in the kitchen and always looked forward to seeing Mabel come to the dining room! She was the sweetest little lady I have ever met! It was a delight to have known her ...... Peace be with you !

Dear Eileen, Ron and family. I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady. I remember your mom and dad taking us kids up to their cabin on the lake every now and then. They were so good to us and such kind souls. God comfort and keep you always in His care. I am truly sorry, but don't think I'll be able to make it to the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Cousin Shirley Kastner
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I still have a beaded ornament that Mable made.....she gave it to me one Christmas when I invited her to join us. I think of her every time I put it on my tree. She is in a better place and at peace now. She is smiling to all of those who loved her soooo much.....Keep smiling Mable :>)

Eileen and Ron, I am so sorry you've lost your mom (and I have lost an aunt), but we did have her for a good long time! Like Karoline, I have Christmas tree ornaments Mabel made and a lovely little hat decoration with potpourri tucked in the crown. I remember (I think) her and Mom making comparisons about afghans and crochet. I always liked Aunt Mabel's notes in birthday and Christmas cards and enjoyed writing notes to her as well. I will miss sending her a birthday card as it was always an opportunity for a note. I know you will miss her terribly.

My sympathy to your family. I worked with Mabel at Pranges in the 1980s. She was a great lady, always a smile on her face and a great sense of humor!

Ms Mabel , such a lovely graceful spirit. This is so hard because we never expect our beautiful loved one to perish, unfortunately it happens. Ms Balke will definitely be remembered for she left behind good fond memories. Keep in mind that the Bible holds the answer to all our questions and that soon we will see Ms Balke amazing smile again in the resurrection here on a paradise earth as God for told in His Word the Bible.
