Oh my goodness, Beth, I am so so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I knew Mike from my high school and early college years. I saw him last year when he played at the 50th reunion in Merrill and am so glad I got to speak to him then. He introduced me to blues music and that has remained my all-time favorite. I think you referred to him as "Nice Mike" when you and I spoke that night... that truly says it all, Beth. I'm so glad he had you in his life, it was plain to see that you meant the world to him.

Thank you for being a wonderful man, friend, neighbor and fellow amputee with Jacquie. She will always cherish the bond she had with you over something the rest of us couldn’t relate to. I knew Mike through Beth and got to know him well the last few years. His band actually played for my wedding almost 30 years ago. I was lucky enough to play in a band with him several years back. Mike knew A LOT about music. Not only was he great guitarist/singer he also was a treasure trove of music knowledge. He was beyond generous. Always positive and never said a bad word about anybody. I will miss him.
