I spent a lot of time with Luke in Reno. He was a great and thoughtful friend. He had the patience to practice tennis with me even though he was such an advanced player. We drove all the way around Lake Tahoe many times. He really liked my steak or barbecued chicken dinners. He really enjoyed when his brother would drive to meet him for golf. He was such a kind human being. I just found out today that he had passed away when I went to lunch and spoke to his manager. He loved his family a lot. He used to have a picture of you on the refrigerator in his studio apartment.

I have great memories of playing basketball with Luke at the YMCA when we were younger. Luke was always a great competitor and teammate. Our paths crossed again at St. Norbert where we made it through Business Law together. Luke was a good kid and a great guy. He will be missed.

Dear Collins family, My heart goes out to you during this time. It is a parent's worst nightmare to lose a precious child so young. I will add Luke to my thoughts as I do the NAMI Waukesha walk next month. What a wonderful tribute to have memorials to that organization. They are needed now more than ever. Warmest regards, Angela Utschig attended Xavier & graduated from West in 1993
