Louise M. Senecal

Louise M. Senecal, 82, of Kimberly, the Good Lord wrapped his arms around Louise on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 after a struggle with dementia.

Louise was born on January 19, 1930 in Neenah to Isadore “Barney” and Clara (Maciejewski) Swiechowski. She was married on June 28, 1950 to Bill Senecal Jr. and together they had five children. She had many friends. Louise loved to play cards, bingo, bowling, yahtzee, darts, swimming and sitting on her patio watching and whistling to the birds especially her favorite “Cardinals”. She liked to help build puzzles and we let her put in the last piece. She loved going on bus trips. Mom loved cookies, chocolates and flowers. Louise worked at Home Mutual and Butch's Pizza for many years. She was a long time “TOPS” member and volunteered at Colony Oaks. She also was a member of Ladies of Holy Name, Kimberly Homemakers, and Legion Auxiliary. Ron took care of Mom since 1984. She lived at Appleton Health Care for the last six months. Mom had a HEART OF GOLD.

Louise is survived by her loving baby brother Jerry Swiechowski, five children; Ron (Nicole “Jonah”) Senecal, and their children, Christopher, Sierra, grand dogs, Sophie, Roxy and Bentley; her son, Rick (Kim) Senecal, and their children, Jessica (Donald) Bolton, Nick (Andrea) Senecal, and their children Ryan and Morgan, Sarah Senecal; her daughter Darlene “Dar” Dutcher and her extended family, Darla and Sara Scherer, Bo and Jan Dutcher; her daughter, Diane Kosmosky and her children, Tiffy, Brian (Kim) and their children Makennah, Nevaeh and Danicah, Jeffrey (fiancée Kari Haen), Tracy, her son Brock “Benji”, Chris (fiancée Kaylee Rentmeester), Travis (special friend Kaitlyn Van Zeeland); her daughter, Donna (Jerry) Jansen, and their children, Craig (Tricia) and their children, Rachel, Kayla and Jenna, Scott, and his children, Zack, Alanna, Halle and their mom Amy, Matt (Sarah) and their children, Deacon and Emmet, Bill's three sisters and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Eddie (Fritzi) and Hank, sisters Leona “Auntie” (Clem) Palmbach, Dorothy and Gertrude Swiechowski and a son-in-law David Kosmosky, Bill and his two sisters and four brothers-in-law, her dogs, Tina, Ginger “Bootsie” and Rosie and many friends.

The funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 4:00 PM at HOLY SPIRIT/ HOLY NAME CHURCH (600 E. Kimberly Ave.) with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery.

A big thank you to Dr. Joyce Bauer, Dr. Toni Jo Neal and the staff at St. Paul Home and Appleton Health Care Center and the AMC 8th floor staff. As purple was Louise's Favorite color, please wear something purple in her honor.

A memorial fund will be established in her name.
