Louise Breitengross

Louise M. Breitengross, nee Niederehe, age 99, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Louise was born March 18, 1914 to the late Henry and Clara Niederehe in Fond Du Lac, WI. She married Edgar Breitengross on December 12th, 1942.

She was a woman of strong faith who enjoyed gardening, reading and working puzzles. She was a great Packers and Brewers fan and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter, Judith Breitengross; two sons, Jim (Jewell) Breitengross and Tom (Nicole) Breitengross; grandchildren, Scott (Alia), Johnna, Tim, Zak, Everly, Eden and Charlie; great-granddaughter, Brooke; as well as many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar; and one brother, Henry.

Funeral liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 N. McDonald Street, Appleton with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Louise will be laid to rest privately at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul Hospice Care or St. Thomas More Parish.

Special and heartfelt thanks to the nurses, caregivers and the entire staff of St. Paul Hospice Care, for their compassionate and loving care given to Louise these past few weeks.
