Norma so sorry for your loss- Mac and I go way back in the Red cross as you know.. I first met Mac when he took a CPR/First Aid class I taught at the chapter. After class he told me he had never worked so hard in a class but that it was worth it because he learned so much ! We spent hours for DAT but he was always just Mac calm, cool & collected. It was my honor to know him as he will be missed. Hope to see you at the grocery store to chat.

to all of Mac's family please know my deep sympathy for your loss. I had the privilege of knowing mac and working with him for many years while he was at Patterson's and on various committee's. Also had the opportunity afterwards to see him at the mini storage where he kept his boat. His smile and laughter was who he was and what I will always remember. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

When one of the truly good guys departs, echoes upon echoes, images upon images, moments upon moments, reoccur in the mind's eye--fondness and sadness mingle, and more is hard to say. Love and caring to all. Another voice from the early days of Appleton Youth Hockey.

Mac and I started in Red Cross together. he refused to give his first name during first class - he was just Mac. We had similar experiences = being proud of uniformed daughters, wives with heart/lung problems and telephonic relationship with grandson. Many, many fond Mac stories. A favorite was him charming a surly 17 y/o after a DAT incident. Mac was certainly one of God's good guys who made the world a better place.

My Dear friend Mac. Our longtime friendship and your support over many yrs, will never be forgotten. You, Myself, Wayne Funk and the Shak, shared the best of times while fishing. We solved allot of world problems, even a few of our own in the boat. So many laughs and wonderful trips. What a team we were. The best!
