Patti, Mike, Amy and Tyler: Lorraine was like a second grandmother to David. We can still picture her there at all their sports events cheering for Tyler, David and Mike. She had a wonderful way of making you feel important to her; and passed that characteristic onto all of you. Wish I could be with you today to tell you in person what a wonderful mom and grandmother you were all blessed with; but I am helping Jenny settle into her townhome in South Carolina. She and I said special prayers for your mom and all of you. Your mom and dad must be looking down with such pride in the wonderful families they raised. May God bless all of you!! I'm so sorry for your loss. Loretta was a great person and I'm sure a treasure and gift to all of you. I know her from her parents having a cheese factory east of Fremont, or south of Readfield. Very, very nice family. Although I was closer to Vernon's age.. I also saw Loretta in town or when she brought her Mom to Zion church. My maiden name was Bartel. Still live in the neighborhood. You have my deepest sympathy.. I have fond memories of her. She touched my life. Rogene
