Age 81, died unexpectedly, Tuesday afternoon, March 4, 2003, at her home. She was born October 30, 1921, to the late Henry and Emma (Drephal) Pasch, in Cicero, Wisconsin, grew up in Black Creek and was an Appleton resident most of her life. Lorraine had been employed by Park-N-Market, in the bakery. She was an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian Ladies, visited the sick and was a communion server.

She is survived by seven children, Robert (Roberta) Stoffel; Peter (Judy) Stoffel; Diane Stoffel; Paula (Bill) Sutter; Steven (Mary) Stoffel, all of Appleton; Mary (Roger) Philippi, Suring; Timothy (Cathy) Stoffel, Nichols; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Billy Pasch, Black Creek; Sister Theresa Ann, OP, Manitowoc; Sister Benigna, OP, Manitowoc; Delores Vander Heiden, Appleton; Therese (Carl) Schroeder, Appleton; brothers-in-law, Herbert (Fran) Stoffel, Appleton; Clement Stoffel, Appleton; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stoffel, on November 27, 2000, an infant son and daughter, an infant granddaughter, four brothers, Earl, Art, Walter (Margaret), Bernice (Walter), brothers-in-law, John (Ethel) Stoffel, Claire (Marie) Stoffel, George Vander Heiden, Jack Mc Ginnis, sisters-in-law, Sister Jonella, and Phil Stoffel.

The funeral liturgy for Lorraine will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 7, 2003, at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Morrison Street at Wisconsin Avenue, with Father William Hoffman officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 12:30 pm, Friday, until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
