Sue Freundl left a message on April 6, 2009:
I worked with Loretta at Central Office from 1995 until her retirement in 1998. I feel fortunate to have been touched by her kindness and gentle manner. Her quiet sense of humor gave me many smiles. I enjoyed lunches with her after she retired and last spoke with her in May. I will miss her. My sympathy to her family.

Loretta and I have been friends for 57 years. Started when we were l0 years old. No matter when I called it was like we were back sitting on the bench by the store, discussing life and other things. I have many happy and wonderful memories to keep in my heart, until we meet again. Losing your best friend is worse then losing your pet dog. Hope the pain fades. Your friend, Donna Mullen

Loretta was one of my mom's best friends. As a child my parents would go to visit Tom and Loretta and their daughters. I have many happy memories of these visits. No matter when I saw Loretta she was always smiling and enjoying life. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed by many people.
