My deepest sympathies go to the family and friends of this terrific woman. I very much appreciate how Mrs. Mueller was a nice friend of my parents Richard and Martha Ward. I have fond memories of going skiing at Brule and other places in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with Mrs. Mueller and her family.

Mike and Sue MacGregor left a message on May 11, 2018:
Sue and I, visiting our son here in Austin, TX, just learned of Lois literally moments ago from Steve who only heard of it while on his business trip he just returned from. We were shocked and SO sorry. Our family has known Lois and Ross and family for many many years and we still can't believe what we've heard. Lois was all the things said in the Obituary and more. Sue, who shares many of the same interests and values, agrees wholeheartedly. I will soon try to contact Ross, but we would like to say how sorry we are to have learned this. Lois was a terrific person.

Reid and I were stunned to see Lois' name in the paper today. She was such a selfless and caring person and because of that her spirit lives on in all those whom she touched.
