Lois J. Macho

Lois J. Macho, age 91, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was born in Neenah on June 11, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Fitzgerald) Levandoski. Lois grew up in Neenah and graduated from Neenah High School. She worked as a teacher at St. Bernadette Elementary School in Appleton and Fox Valley Technical College. She was unpretentious, unbiased and accepting. She was loved by everyone who met her.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Carey (significant other, Robert Misky) Macho; nieces and nephews: Sara Bartlett, Lucy Levandoski, Tom Levandoski and Jeff Levandoski; she is further survived by great nieces and nephews and other relatives, including, Rick and Ellen.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy; siblings: Gene (Barbara) Levandoski and Edward Levandoski; nephew: Mark Levandoski.

The memorial service for Lois will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Wichmann-Laemmrich Funeral Home (312 Milwaukee St., Menasha). Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to ThedaCare Hospice in Lois’ name.
