Mary Pierce left a message on April 6, 2009:
This summer when I returned to Wisconsin for a visit, I called Linda to ask her a quilting question. Linda was someone you could always turn to for answers. Our phone visit was as though we had just taken up a conversation where it left off years ago. She never forgot anyone. Linda's voice always smiled even over the telephone. What a gem she was to us all.

Joe Gehrke left a message on April 6, 2009:
One of my last memories of Aunt Linda was a surprise appearance by her and Uncle Brian at a mini tailgate that Annie and I were having at the "parking spot" outside of Lambeau Field. What I remember most about that time was the joy and happiness that each of her kids brought to her life. Stories of Chris, Jen, Caleb and Andrianna were of equal importance and pride when she spoke. She was a very proud mother! Aunt Linda will be missed, but more importantly, she will be remembered for her love of others and her infectious laugh when she was around friends and family.
