So sorry to hear of Uncle Les's passing. Some of my fondest memories are how he used to take I-Turdy-Five to get to Kansas City. Boy that sure made us girls laugh. I also remember him singing "In Heaven There is No Beer" one night when we were at a cabin in Wisconsin. I'm sure that wasn't the first or the last time he sang that little ditty! Also remember how he loved his Merc's. At first we weren't quite sure what a Merc was until Dad told us! Great memories of your Dad & Mom!
May his memories be your comfort, now and forever!
Dear Ken, Bob, Don and your families,
My sincere sympathy on the loss of your wonderful Dad. Thinking of him , I recall his smile and his quiet sense of humor, his drawl. We are going back 40-50 years here . On seeing his picture I see Les Salm from the prime of his life. Warm regards, Marilyn Stadler MacLeod
