Age 73, died Thursday, November 6, 2003, at Appleton Medical Center. Leonard was born on August 1, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Michele and Maria (De Bellis) Volpe. He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte (Greg) Brown, Northridgeville, Ohio; his son, Leonard (Alice) Volpe, Jr. Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren; his brothers, Joseph (Josephine) Volpe, Parma, Ohio, and Anthony (Angela) Volpe, Euclid, Ohio; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister. Leonard was a free spirited soul who lived life to its fullest. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2003, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in Leonard’s name.
