Leon P. “Lee” Billmeyer, age 74, of Kimberly, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Lee was born on April 27, 1936, in Wisconsin Rapids, to the late Paul and Ceil (Jagodzinski) Billmeyer. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. In July of 1960 he married Nancy R. Stayton; they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Lee was employed at Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin for over 37 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; his sons, Jay Billmeyer of Neenah and Tod Billmeyer, of Appleton; his three grandsons, Justin, Tyler and Paul; and his sister Arlene Billmeyer of Menomonie, Wisconsin. Services and burial will be in Wisconsin Rapids at a later date.
