Dear Sue and Family, I know it has been many years since we have met and seen each other, but as family, I morne with you over the loss of Leon. He was a great person and I am sure a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. I remember the many fun times we had as cousins visit with and sharing Thanksgivings and Christmas dinners at our grandmothers house (grandma Exilda). We were young and adventurous a little crazy crawling in and out of the old shed out back and into the root cellar through the outsides steps. Leon being 15 years older than me was the leader of the pack however and always took care of us younger ones. Sad that our families kind of grew apart after grandma's passing. Take care and my prayers are with you and your family! Allen Chouinard - son of Alfred and Arlene Chouinard

Sue, I've reached out to the girls & want you to know that I am very sorry about Leon's passing. A midst my sadness though, I have so many fond memories of you & Leon and Amy & Kelly that it brings a smile to my face when I think of him. In 24 years of friendship, I cannot tell you how many times Amy & I had laughter and joyful moments because of her Dad. He will be missed and it comforts me that my most impressionable teenage years were shaped by my friendship with Amy and the support of your family. If I may say so, Leon did a darn good job of raising two great daughters with you -- both of whom I happen to adore. I'm thinking of you during this very difficult time and please know that I am sending love & light to your family. You have always been my second family and I feel your grief from across the miles. I love you all. Godspeed.
