Our deepest condolences to the Calder family. Chris was a remarkable friend of our parents and was an unbelievable support to us when our parents passed. Chris came into the house and directly said she was going to manage the phones and home for us. It was clear this was not optional and she said we didn't know how important this would be. She was spot on. I am grateful we had the time to share those memories the last time I was back for Dick Calder to be honored by the Mielke Foundation with the award generously named after the efforts by our parents in the Fox Valley Community. This group of amazing people that our parents had as friends was nothing short of amazing and Chris was a big part of it. I will miss seeing her as will all of our family!

My sympathy to all of your family. I used to baby sit for the Calder kids in the 60’s. Chris was such a sweet lady. Later on, my husband & I would see her & Dick at Karras’ for Sunday breakfasts. May she Rest In Peace. Judy Mc Clone Oberweiser
