Laura Anne Miller

Laura Anne Miller, age 26, of Largo, Florida, formerly from Appleton, WI was called to heaven on February 10, 2015. Laura was born on October 7, 1988 in Neenah, WI, daughter of Joe and Kris Miller. She was a 2007 graduate of Appleton North High School and she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition & Food Science from the University of Florida. She was employed by Parallon in Largo, FL. Laura was our bright shining star and now will be the brightest star in Heaven. She loved sports, especially water skiing, and was a proud Gator and Packer fan. Deer hunting was certainly exciting with her at the cabin, and she still holds the distinction of being the only female with a standing invitation to “The Hunt.” Laura was also very fond of pets, especially her beloved boxer, Bailey.

Laura is survived by her parents, sister, Lisa (Dan) Schindhelm and nephew Emmett; boyfriend, Matt Vassallo; grandmother, Betty Clemence; aunts and uncles: Keith (Godfather) and Beth Clemence, Karen Clemence, Lou and Michele (Godmother) Gentine, Jim and Diane Walsh, Dick and June Miller, Jim and Sue Miller, Joann Laux, and Mary Miller; and 15 cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Harold Clemence, Gerald Miller, and Thomasine Miller; aunt, Connie Miller; uncle, Patrick Miller; and cousin, Joey Gentine.

Funeral liturgy for Laura will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Laura's family would like to thank the many people who considered her a part of their own family and allowed her to be a part of their lives. Laura was a bright young girl and will be missed dearly. A special thanks to Matt for the loving and caring bond he shared with Laura, and to Bob and Kelly Lau for their assistance during this difficult time.

Our faith reminds us what Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life. She that believes in Me, though she is dead, she shall live.
