Larry D. Rice

Lawrence D. “Larry” Rice, age 70 of Menasha passed away on July 9, 2016. Larry was born on December 19, 1945 to Fred and Jeanette (Polishinski) Rice. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge he worked with Gunderson Cleaners as their Machine Technician. Larry and his wife Pat are the owners of Pat's Legend Inn in Menasha.
Larry loved going to his cabin in Tomahawk where he watched the deer and bears.
Larry will be sadly missed by his wife Pat (Kersten) Rice, son Christopher (Heather) Kersten, grandchildren: Sierre, Adam, Lawson and Anthony, brother Les (Char) Rice, sisters: Phyllis (friend Victor Moore) Rice, Marianne (Doug) Spain and Cathy (Joe) Sawicki, sisters-in-law: Kris (Henry) Pagel and Karen (Randy) Immel, brothers-in-law: Robert (Theresa) Kersten, Keith Kersten, Marvin Kersten, Tom Kersten and Curt (Cindy) Kersten, Pat's parents, John and Marilyn Kersten as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a celebration of Larry's life on Friday July 15, 2016 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Wichmann Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street of Menasha. A memorial service with military honors will be at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
