BOELTER, LARRY A.

Larry Boelter, 58, of Appleton, died accidentally at his home away from home, his beloved cottage on Lake Winneconne, on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He was born on October 9, 1950 in New London, the son of Arlin and Ruth (Heinke) Boelter. Larry was employed at Hayes Manufacturing (Division of Sonoco) for 38 years. He enjoyed music, fishing, boating, bowling and fixing and repairing things. Larry loved working on cars and attending car shows. Many will remember his great sense of humor and his generosity.

He is survived by his son: Ryan Boelter, Appleton; parents: Arlin and Ruth Boelter, Appleton; brother: Randall (Michelle) Boelter, Appleton; sister: Sue (Dave) Dunsirn, Greenville; Ryan's mother: Mary Hagan, Tacoma, Washington; former mother-in-law: Rita DeGroot, Appleton; best friend and former brother-in-law: Tom (Mandy) Lillge, Appleton. Larry is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam Boelter.

The funeral service for Larry will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. The visitation will take place on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
