Karen, Mary, and All Family Members, Thanks for the great obituary tribute to Kevin. We were privileged to be 50+ years friends of John and Margaret, and their children. Kevin (Pal, as all Hovey male family members were referred to by each other) was my good fishing buddy in the Kentucky Lake days, and later in St. Louis. A very outgoing friendly person who was the youngest child and loved by his siblings Considerate and kind to all he met, he will be missed by all. Karen, you are a very special person for caring for Kevin his later years, and we all thank you for that special love. May God rest his long Pal....the Soph family members.

I loved Kevin's smile and I could always get a smile out of him. He was a blessing to those who knew him and at the end of life I hope that someone will say the same about me
Reverend Derrick Wilbert left a message on December 10, 2020:
I had the pleasure of spending a few moments of Kevin's life attending to his needs as his home health aide. I will always remember his sense of humor and that Kevin smile. I also never will forget the care and love given to him by his loving attentive Sister-In-Law Karen Hovey. I am also happy that Kevin is now with his brother John whom he missed dearly. Friends forever until we meet again. May God Bless You and give you the comfort and peace you need during your time of loss of Kevin Hovey. God Bless You Hovey Family
Dale Leonard left a message on December 10, 2020:
Kevin was a great man. It was an honor and privilege to have met him and shared a part of his life. He always told you how it was and up may be down and right may be wrong but he always kept you on your toes. He had an amazing smile and appreciated the negative attention he would get from Packer fans as he proudly wore the Bears team apparel. Rest In Peace Kevin my God bless you and keep you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Wendy Ulrich left a message on December 10, 2020:
Kevin will be greatly missed. He was such a large part of Karen's life for so many years. Her care, devotion, and love was present until he met his Savior.
