Age 80, passed away at the V.A. Hospital in Madison on Monday, August 9, 2010. He was born in Milwaukee on December 21, 1929, the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Ackerman) Blinkwitz. Ken was proud to serve in the Korean Conflict as an Army Ranger. On November 12, 1955 he married his wife of 55 years, Esther Marx. Ken was an electrician for the City of Milwaukee. After retirement, he moved to the Fox Cities with Esther.

Ken is survived by his wife, Esther; sons: James and Michael Blinkwitz of Appleton; daughter, Kathleen (Clayton Chinn) Blinkwitz of Seattle, WA; and grandchildren: Gregory and Daniel Hlaban. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Katherine (Edward) Gemoll and Florence Blinkwitz; and a brother: Gilbert (Delores) Blinkwitz.

The funeral liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine St., Appleton, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
